Leabetswe (Lea) Bomvana is the Executive Head for Business Strategy at Metropolitan Life, within Momentum Metropolitan Holdings. Prior to that, she headed the Strategic Portfolio Management Office at the South African Reserve Bank, Old Mutual Insure and was the Divisional Director for Strategic Projects at Liberty Group SA. Lea has over 18 years’ experience occupying various roles in Strategy and IT PMOs - both in the public and private sector.

She also committed her spare time to serve on the Executive Committee of the SA Chapter of PMI, the world's leading professional association for a growing community of millions of project professionals and changemakers worldwide as Vice President: Branches.

Bomvana has had various speaking engagements at ITWeb, PMI SA and Smart Procurement Indaba.
